Vocabulary. Musmachimot is a non-binary Hebrew word for “ordinees” or those receiving a “laying of hands.” Erev means “evening” or “eve of.” In ALEPH when you are at the “eve of” your rabbinate, you are affectionately called Erev Rav, etc. Rav means “rabbi.” Hazzan means “cantor.”
